ACE #295: Are You Waiting on God?

In Mark 1 verse 29, Jesus and the disciples go to visit Simon's mother-in-law who is sick.  They told Jesus about the woman's condition.  Jesus went to her, took her hand, and helped her up out of the bed.  As soon as her fever left her and she was healed, the Word says that she began to wait on them.  The woman went straight from sickness, perhaps on her death bed, to waiting on the Master Physician. She began serving Him at the instance of her healing and the moment of her breakthrough.  Even a waiter at a restaurant serves...

Perhaps our breakthrough and healing would happen more quickly if we just served The Lord before, after, and even through the crises.  Jesus did not hesitate to heal the woman; the woman did not hesitate to serve Jesus.  

We should never be hesitant to wait on God.
