Trust God to be the great provider, Jehovah Jireh. But first, we must make sure that we are being good stewards of our finances and other resources. There are some things that are guilty pleasures that we don't need, we just want them or they make us feel good!
If you find yourself coming up short sometimes, reevaluate your financial priorities. (And, yes, I stay out of the jewelry store and the purse store these days). We can't take it for granted that God will always turn our finances around immediately - sometimes he has to discipline us and make us learn the lesson. But he'll never really leave us hanging! And, be grateful for what you do have. There's always somebody worse off than you...
