ACE #222: Throw It

Go ahead, throw it...

"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

This is the message to those who feel like it is their responsibility to call your situation into judgment. This is the message to those who think they have power over you. This is the message to those who spend more time analyzing your life and your story. This is the message for those who think their situation is perfect.

Throw it!

This is not bragging because sin is not of God. Jesus clearly told the women "Go and sin no more." It is message of hope to those who may have lost their way. It is a message of love from Christ that He forgives and has died on the cross to set us free from the power of sin. 

We might have messed up. We might have fallen into sin, but the only one who can throw the stone is Christ. However, He would rather die for us than stone us.  

Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" "No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."
