ACE #129: When Our Hearts Grieve

I got an early morning call today that has left me terribly uncomfortable and my spirit grieved.  I received the same type of call early Monday morning.  In the last 60 days, our small community has experienced many deaths. Many of us have been left stunned and speechless.  Death does not have an age, a race, or a gender preference. It just comes...uninvited mostly.

It can leave people empty, broken-hearted, sad and even angry.  For those who are experiencing this season of mourning, I encourage you to trust God and to lean on Him for strength.  God is still and will always be faithful...even in sorrow.

Though the clouds may hang over there will be a brighter day.  In that land they call heaven God shall wipe the tears away.

No more sorrow, no more weeping.  Peace and joy everyday.  For beside life’s crystal river, God shall wipe all tears away.

Oh the joy of meeting Jesus, mortal tongues cannot portray. For we know when we behold him, God shall wipe all tears away.

We shall behold the lamb of God sitting on the throne.  There will be no more crying, no more weeping, trouble will be gone. Hallelujah, there will be joy forever more - when we reach that other shore.

Revelation 21
4 He'll wipe every tear from their eyes. Death is gone for good - tears gone, crying gone, pain gone - all the first order of things gone."
