Every now and again, we have to go back to the basics.
How was church today? Was it powerful? Was it an awesome experience? Was it just what you needed for the week? Was it just what you needed to get over last week? How was it?
Why am I asking? Because those questions were about what we got out of it. But the real question should be, "How did you make the worship an experience?"
Worship is not about us. It is about God. He deserves all we have, but we can't do that when we have our own agendas. The Bible says seek Him and His kingdom first and the other things will come. Worshiping The Lord is giving ourselves away to edify Him. Understanding this will certainly give Him the glory and put us in position to experience the real abundance in Him. So, again, how was church today? Was is about you or about Him?
