ACE #100: Why We Do What We Do and Love It

A man stopped me in the grocery store yesterday while I was checking out. He said that he rarely gets on social media except for business purposes. He said that when he logs on that he intentionally checks our page because there is always something uplifting - an encouraging word.  The same man stopped my mother in the grocery store with the same story on the same day.  We've witnessed about the love of Christ in churches, malls, grocery stores, doctor's offices, restaurants, on the job, in our driveway, at nursing homes, in parking lots, to people we know, to complete strangers, etc. The majority of this has happened "beyond the four walls" of a church building. We just started to hand out our business cards.  Just last week someone asked us, "Where is this place located?" Our response, "Nowhere...except online!" It reminded us of what a great work and serious charge Jesus gave us "to go and make disciples" (Matthew 28:19) and to do so however God has equipped/prepared you to do it. ~ CBL

Our prayer is that you will not take our word for it, but seek the Lord in your own experiences and ask Him to guide you in your personal witness. The ACE is simply one vessel God is using to help "iron sharpen iron". Our desire is to show our Jesus in every situation to strengthen our faith as well as help others along the way. We take no credit and give all the glory to Him. He is an awesome God. He is a mighty God. He can do anything but fail - I am not talking about the blog either. The word says, "Trust in the Lord with all thy heart and lean not to your own understanding..." (Proverbs 3:5). Sometimes it will have to be in the way that you never thought it would/could be. But I declare His ways are not our ways. ~ RJL

As we reflect on our 100th blog for The 'After Church' Experience we recognize the ministry work we've done, but the work that still lies ahead of us. We prayed that God would give us a ministry that we could grow TOGETHER as a married, Christian couple...and he gave us two in 2013!

We thank our readers for your support and pray God blesses you richly in 2014 and beyond.
